Where can I find parking?
Parking is available on all local streets
OR the 4-story parking garage located east of Main Street
and south of Curtiss street. You can access the garage
via Washington or Curtiss Streets. [ See General Info

Where is the event held?
The 15,000 square foot heated, big-top tent is located in
thhe parking lot of the public library just west (on your
right) of Main Street, on the corner of Burlington and Forest
Avenues SOUTH of the railroad tracks.
Can I buy advanced tickets?
No need to buy advance tickets. General admission tickets
can be purchased at the door. Entry fees are located
at the top of this page.
Why is there sometimes a line to get in?
Due to the popularity of this yearly event, and the
fabulous authentic German music, there may be an initial
rush prior to the bands playing.
But, we very seldom have more than a five minute wait!
What is the appropriate ID to get in?
There is no requirement for general admission. Those
who choose to consume alcoholic beverages will be required
to produce proper, valid identification.
Does the Oktoberfest accept credit cards or checks?
We apologize, but at this time we only accept cash.
Can I bring my child?
The Rotary Club of Downers Grove Oktoberfest is a family
event. We encourage attendees to bring their children
and families during matinee hours and Sundays.
Can I bring my pet?
No animals are allowed into the tent except seeing-eye
dogs.
When do taps shut off?
Taps shut off at 11:15 p.m. on Friday and Saturday nights,
and at 5:45 p.m. on Sunday evening. That means no beer
is poured after these times. The festival closes at 11:30
p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 6 p.m. on Sunday
.
When is Happy Hour?
Friday : 5 p.m. - 11:30 p.m.
Saturday : 5 p.m. - 11:30 p.m.
Is there any food on site?
We’ve got one of Chicago's western suburbs finest catering
services providing our food this year. My Chef Catering
is our official German food provider serving
authentic, scrumptious German food.

The beverages available at this event
are best consumed in moderation and savored for their
unique flavors, aromas, and textures. Over-consumption
of alcohol can affect our bodies, judgement, and perception.
